If you have been playing with an injury and soldiering on through your matches then SquashLevels is doing what it does and measuring the level at which you are playing - which is obviously different to how good you are.
If it looks like you are over your injury and playing back at your pre-injury level then there are some things we can do which will depend on how fast your playing level springs back.
- As you return to form your results will indicate your true level and the system will do it's best to keep up. We even have a level boost which kicks in after four matches in a row that demonstrate you are seriously under levelled. This would be our preference.
- If you recover suddenly then we can override the system but we'd need to see hard evidence of that which would be at least three real results from, say, your league matches or a tournament. This would be equivalent to the level boost but it would be done manually and we'd apply the override to the first match it applied to.
In general we advise to see how it goes and then get in touch when we can judge better which way to go. The system will keep up anyway but if you demonstrate a very significant improvement that deserves a manual override, please get back to us and we'll take a look.
The levels are re-calculated every night so this sort of thing is always back dateable!
